RACING PIGEON MAINTENANCE
Complete maintenance feed for racing pigeons. It can also be fed to pedigree and exotic granivorous pigeons. It is designed to be fed as a complete diet, although it can also be fed as a supplement to seed mixtures (this will significantly improve the quality of the diet as a whole).
During periods of reproductive rest and/or sporting activity, a diet based solely or mainly on this feed will ensure optimal nutrition.
Racing Pigeon Maintenance contains all the nutrients that pigeons require.
Vitamin or trace element supplements are not recommended if the birds are fed primarily on this diet. Excess levels of some nutrients caused by supplementation could lead to serious health problems.
On the other hand, in order to optimise the function of the gizzard, it is recommended that the pigeons have permanent or regular access to Silex Grit (silica sand).
