General information
The products of the COLUMBAE range are aimed at feeding granivorous pigeons, especially the different breeds of domestic pigeons. A good part of the products in the range are focused on racing pigeons, although they can perfectly be supplied to other granivorous breeds or species.
These are complete foods that make it possible to obtain optimal results, through an extremely simple dietary management of adult specimens based on complete food, flint grit, calcium grit and water.
The hand feeding formulas (crop milk and follow-on hand feeding) allow the systematization of the artificial rearing of pigeons from birth to emancipation.
Characteristics
The different types of foods in the range are offered in the form of pellets. The granulation does not allow the birds to select the ingredients of the mixture. Each pellet contains all the nutrients that the bird needs and in a balanced way.
The Crop milk is one of the achievements of the R&D work of Psittacus Catalonia and right now it constitutes an unavoidable component in the protocol for hand-rearing pigeons from hatching.
Likewise, the follow-on hand feeding formula makes it possible to complete the hand-rearing process of the chick pigeons.
